Nico Rosberg enjoyed something akin to a school reunion this morning when he had his photograph taken with karting rivals Nelson Piquet, Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubica, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Renault F1’s press officer Marie Hirth. A woman driver, I hear you cry? “Marie was really good,” says Nico.

Another great photo opportunity for Nico will take place in Milan on Wednesday when he’s scheduled to play football against an Italian team of celebrities that includes the stars of Big Brother. We’re told that no red cards will be issued during the game, only evictions…

With the Italian Grand Prix taking place next weekend, AT&T Williams has to move its equipment to Monza as quickly as possible. The team’s transporters are expected to leave the Spa paddock at 9pm tonight and they will then drive through the night with the aim of arriving in Milan tomorrow evening. Three cheers for the truckies!

The guys at AT&T Williams with whom David Coulthard worked in 1994 and ’95 are being invited to take a trip down memory lane at Monza. On Thursday evening they will join a select group of DC’s paddock friends to view photographs of his career. Why not start with Portugal ’95, his first win?
