Nico Rosberg was the last driver to arrive at Spa-Francorchamps today. Instead of flying to Belgium first thing, as would be the norm, he headed to Silverstone in the UK to conduct a test session for AT&T Williams. He completed 50kms before catching a lift to Spa in Frank Williams’ plane. Was he just trying to avoid doing PR?

Another member of the team avoiding the media at Spa was AT&T Williams director of engineering, Patrick Head. He was in an FIA technical meeting for five hours this afternoon, from 2pm to 7pm. That’s a lot of digestive biscuits…

Sebastian Vettel might be a good driver, but his taste in music has left people open-mouthed at Spa. When asked what music he listens to, he replied: “German folk songs are my favourite; I like the lyrics.”

Talking of lyrics, a big hand to Lewis Hamilton, who’s written a guitar solo for his pop star girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. Is there anything this man cannot do?
