Kazuki's British Blog: Friday

Until I damaged my car at the exit of the Abbey chicane, today’s practice sessions were going well. I could feel a definite improvement in the balance of my FW30 through Silverstone’s high-speed sweeps, so I’m more confident going into this race weekend than I was at Magny Cours, for example. That’s if it stays dry, of course, and the weather forecast isn’t good.
But the weather is always a factor at Silverstone, so we can’t say we weren’t expecting a bit of rain and wind. What was a surprise this morning, though, was a food parcel brought to me by Koji Taguchi from the Japanese magazines F1 Week and GP Special. He’s a good friend and he delivered the goody-bag – chocolates and various snacks – before the start of first practice. I know what I’m having for dinner tonight… Thanks, Koji-san!
