Thursday 6th
Nico and Kazuki both board aeroplanes, Nico en route to Sydney, Kazuki to Tokyo.
Friday 7th
Kazuki touches down in Japan for a Toyota press conference. He patiently carries out back-to-back interviews before boarding a plane en route to Sydney the same evening.
Saturday 8th
Nico and Kazuki arrive in Sydney, where they spend the weekend acclimatising to the heat and the time zone.
Tuesday 11th
Surf’s up! Nico dons a wetsuit for sponsor RBS and heads into the waves at Bondi Beach. He’s never previously surfed, but with a bit of help from pro surfer Nathan Hedge, he quickly becomes very Patrick Swayze in Point Break.
Wednesday 12th
Nico and Kazuki make the short flight from Sydney to Melbourne.
Sunday 16th
Nico finishes third and Kazuki sixth in the season-opening Australian GP, after which they both enjoy a few celebratory drinks with the race team in the Crown Towers Hotel.
Monday 17th
Nico flies to Singapore for the first round of the RBS 2008 Grand Prix Challenge; Kazuki flies straight to Kuala Lumpur for some hot weather training.
Wednesday 19th
Nico flies from Singapore to KL.
Thursday 20th
Both drivers launch the AT&T Williams-liveried Air Asia Airbus A320 at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Sunday 23rd
Nico finishes 14th and Kazuki 17th in the Malaysian GP. Both driver return to Europe, Nico to Monaco and Kazuki to the UK.
Sunday 30th
Kazuki flies from the UK to Dubai for some hot weather training.
